How It Started
It started as “Project Links” — a side project born from a straightforward observation: link-in-bio tools proved there was demand, but the experience stopped at a vertical list. What if it could feel more like a native app? That single question shaped everything.
The first real decision was moving mobile navigation to the bottom of the screen — where your thumb already is. A small choice, but it drew a clear line between Pivot and everything else in the space. Design for how people actually hold their phones, and the rest falls into place.
The Opportunity
Most people don’t need a full website. They need something between a social bio and a homepage — easy to set up, great on mobile, and capable enough to actually represent them. That middle ground barely existed.
